Gustafson, Ralph (Barker)
(16 ago. 1909, Lime Ridge, cerca de Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canadá–29 may. 1995, North Hatley).

Poeta canadiense. Asistió a la Universidad de Oxford; después de la segunda guerra mundial se instaló en Nueva York, pero más tarde regresó a Canadá. Sus obras muestran una evolución desde una forma y modo tradicionales hacia un estilo elíptico que refleja la influencia de la poesía anglosajona y los experimentos métricos de Gerard Manley Hopkins. Entre sus trabajos posteriores, generalmente considerados sus mejores escritos, figuran Rivers Among Rocks [Ríos entre las rocas] (1960), Conflicts of Spring [Conflictos de primavera] (1981) y Shadows in the Grass [Sombras en la hierba] (1991). Publicó también colecciones de cuentos.
